MCC Threshold Country Program is underway in Moldova

Chisinau - August 20, 2007. USAID/Moldova has finalized its team of implementing partners and begun assistance under Moldova’s Millennium Challenge Corporation $24.7 million Threshold Country Program.  Millenium/IP3 Partners will assist the Government of Moldova in judicial, health and tax administration reform.  The Academy for Educational Development (AED) will develop the monitoring and reporting capacity of NGOs and media.  The Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance and Training (OPDAT) will provide technical assistance and training to reform the government Center for Combating Economic Crime and Corruption and DOJ’s International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) will provide technical assistance and training to the Ministry of Interior and Customs Department.
